1. Introduction

SlingLab ("SlingLab", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use the SlingLab mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using SlingLab, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, display name, authentication identifiers from Sign in with Apple or Google, account identifier, profile preferences, training sessions, equipment records, notes, statistics, subscription status, and communications you send to us.

3. Training Data

SlingLab stores information you choose to record, including sessions, shots, hit and miss counts, distances, targets, ammunition selections, equipment selections, notes, statistics, personal records, and preferences. This information is used solely to provide SlingLab functionality.

4. Equipment Photos

Equipment photos are stored locally on your device to provide a fast offline experience. In the current version, user equipment photos are not uploaded as image files to SlingLab cloud storage. Photos may be removed when the application is deleted unless future synchronization features are introduced.

5. Account Authentication

SlingLab supports email/password accounts, Sign in with Apple, and Sign in with Google. Authentication is provided through Supabase Authentication. Passwords are never stored by SlingLab in plain text.

6. Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat together with Apple App Store and Google Play billing systems. SlingLab receives subscription status and entitlement information necessary to unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

7. Device Permissions

SlingLab requests access only when necessary for features you choose to use. Camera access allows equipment photography. Photo Library access allows selecting and saving images. Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions enable hands-free session tracking. Denying these permissions affects only the related feature.

8. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate SlingLab, synchronize supported data across your devices, provide customer support, maintain security, process subscriptions, improve reliability, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important service information.

9. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with service providers necessary to operate SlingLab, including Supabase for authentication and cloud data storage, RevenueCat for subscription management, Apple and Google for authentication and platform billing, and other providers necessary to deliver requested services.

10. Data Storage and Security

We use encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated access controls, Row Level Security, and platform security features designed to protect your information. Although no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, we use commercially reasonable measures to safeguard your data.

11. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized where practical.

12. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your SlingLab account at any time using the in-app Delete Account feature or through the public account deletion page referenced by the app stores. Deleting your account permanently removes your authentication account and associated SlingLab data from our systems, subject only to limited retention required by applicable law or platform obligations.
